Podcast Paroxysm: 2014 NBA Draft Edition

facebooktwitterreddit

You know that you can’t get enough draft coverage on this momentous day, so why not take the time to listen to some smart people discuss it?

Hardwood Paroxysm’s own Jared Dubin and Jordan White discuss the NBA Draft at length here in the way that only HP can do so. They touch on some really fantastic topics, such as:

  • How bad it sucks that Joel Embiid is hurt, and how teams need to stop trying to skip steps in the rebuilding process
  • What in god’s name the Cavaliers are going to do with the first overall pick? Will they keep it or trade it? Do they even know what they’re doing with the pick yet (probably not)? And of course most importantly, how are they going to screw it up?
  • Who are the most underrated players in the draft? What about the most overrated ones?
  • Lots of other random inanity

Here’s the link to the Paroxysm site where it was posted a few days ago, and I’ve also embedded the SoundCloud file below. Be it in your car, while you’re at the gym, or even while you’re plying away at work waiting for the clock to strike 7 PM EST, I hope you all take a listen.
